This project is one of my favorite projects so far!
I wanted to experiment with beehive quilling but up until this point, I had only used it once, on my Day of the Dead Skull. We were doing some redecorating in my husband’s office and pulling out some of his Rolling Stone’s memorabilia. I realized as we were sorting through everything the logo was perfect for a first go at beehive quilling. The clean lines and defined colors worked perfectly and I am very happy with the result.
I worked with my preferred 3mm width paper for this project in three colors; black, red and white.
I lined the boundaries prior to filling in the red.
The background was printed on high gloss photo paper.
I have to say I was thrilled with how this project turned out.
